Self-Adaptive Network Framework for Internet of Things


Internet of Things is the internetworking of physical devices, vehicles, buildings and other items. Network connectivity enables these objects to collect and exchange data. IoT systems heavily depend on network performance but its diversity requires self-adaptiveness in network stack of the operating system.
Our research goal is to construct self-adaptive network framework that extracts application’s characteristics and system ability and manages network resource to improve system performance and power consumption simultaneously.
